SMALL PRESS UNITED

This is a little project I came up with purely to amuse myself. I had the idea whilst waiting for a new issue of Image Comics "Image United" to come out (still waiting!). I thought it would be really cool to see a small press version, staring some of my favourite characters. Obviously most small pressers are too occupied with thier main books to devote any time to such a folly as this but, clearly, I was not going to let that get in the way of anything. I must admit, and I believe this will become apparant as you read the pages below, not much thought went into the story; I just wanted to see what all these small press characters would look like on the same page. Not being very good at aping other peoples styles, I resorted to pulling bits and pieces from different issues and assembling them together on the ol' PC. I would have liked to have left it at that, it would have been a lot less labor intensive. But there was always a bit of arm or leg that was missing and needed to be filled in by yours truly, so out came the lightbox, the F pencils, the Pilot pens and the Bristol Board.
